Mark Greenwood: DOGBAG


Dog bag was a performance by Mark Greenwood on behalf of RED APE in 2008.
Materials included rope, dog food, plastic bags, Phil Collins, nails, Elgar's ninth variation, a record player, balaclava, red rubber bands, a hammer, spray paint, white t-shirt and a guide for healthy living.

Leo Devlin (Belfast), Nathan Walker (York) and Liam Yeates (London) responded to masculinity, shelter, danger, punk rock and Marlon Brando. The space acted as a dumping ground with each performer working with objects, debris and fragments left behind as a result of angry androgen actions.
